Recycled Paws is a small volunteer animal rescue organization located in Lexington, North Carolina. We are dedicated to helping reduce the suffering of homeless or displaced companion animals by finding them the loving, quality, permanent homes that they deserve.

     To this end, we nurture our foster pets to restore them to physical and emotional health. We have a highly selective, in-depth application process if you are interested in adopting a pet. We try to match families and pets according to both lifestyle and temperament. Our mission is to protect, rescue & adopt animals to the public.In the process we try to reduce the number of dogs and cats being born, and enrich the human-animal bond.

     Our organization rescues, fosters, and rehabilitates all types of pets with our main objective being dogs. Each homeless pet will remain in our care until he or she finds a new home. This rescue helps animals by providing them a safe haven until loving, adoptive homes can be found for them.We are here to assist. We are not a shelter. All dogs are fostered in private homes and receive all needed veterinary care prior to placement, including but not limited to spay/neuter(if of age), vaccinations, and heart-worm testing.

     We are working to help find homes for the seemingly endless stream of abandoned, displaced, abused, or stray animals.  Recycled Paws realizes that education is the key to restoring a balance in the relationship between man and his canine companion. We feel that everyone deserves a chance to adopt a rescue pet, but above all, our main priority is to insure that each animal we take in goes to the best home we can find, even if that means waiting an extra week or two to find that ultimate situation.

     So far, we have been very lucky in making some magical connections between our pets and their new homes!
